Tomra makes record turnover of 650 million Euro

Tomra Systems ASA, the parent company of Tomra Sorting Food, located in Belgium, among other places, reported a record turnover over 2015 of 6,143 MNOK (650 million Euro). This is a growth of 16 percent compared to the previous year. The company had 648 million NOK (68.7 million Euro) left under the line. The company is listed on the stock exchange in Oslo.

Besides the well known machine manufacturer, a branch that works with solutions for recycling is also included in Tomra Systems. The branch Tomra Sorting Food is specialised in building sorting and processing machines. The assortment contains optical sorting machines and peeling machines for fruit and vegetables. The company was founded in 1972 and has 2600 employees.
