US (CA): Farmers expect exceptional strawberry season

Farmers are gearing up for a robust strawberry season. The expectation of quality is also looking promising this year.

Monday marked the first day for strawberry picking for Strawberry Hill USA. Owner and farmer James Cooley said he is excited for this season.

Clemson Extension agent Andy Rollins said the warm winter weather helped the crop produce more quickly.
