China: First Vietnam bananas shipped to Tianjin

Recently, the staff from the Tianjin Inspection and Quarantine Bureau carried out the inspection and quarantine for the first batch of bananas imported from Vietnam. Tianjin is a port city just South of Beijing.

The total cargo consists of 20 tons, with an estimated value of 10,000 USD. The staff at Tianjin port checked the origin of the fruit, verified all available documentation and conducted a number of quality checks.
