This indicates that by this time next year, large quantities of Taiwan red dragon fruit will enter the market in Hefei without any importing efforts.
Taiwan red dragon fruit grows in Hefei with one single fruit weighing up to 1.5 kg. These red dragon fruits within the pilot test period will come on the market this July, and the last batch of fruit will be ripe until the end of December.
By far, the orders of this red dragon fruit have lined up for Anhui Fuli Agricultural Science & Technology Co., Ltd. It is estimated that by 2017 red dragon fruit will enter the high yield period, by which time the consumers in Hefei can enjoy with ease the fresh flavors of Taiwan red dragon fruit.
