Levarht launches Taste line for Foodservice

At Fruit Logistica, Levarht introduced the special Taste line for its Foodservice customers. "With our Taste line, Levarht will be able to cover the Foodservice's needs when it comes to specialties; which include tasty and attractive mixes of different products, such as tomatoes, aubergines, peppers and other product lines," explains commercial manager Claas van Os.

"The line also includes special varieties, such as the perfect tomato for slicing, but also for soups and sauces; the tasty Italian aubergine, or Nice courgettes, which yield the best results for cooking and have a great look on the customers' plate," continues Claas. "Taste also offers Cash & Carry retailers the opportunity to market the specialties as a recognisable overall concept on the shelves; it is a tasty chance to further develop the category."

"For us, the Foodservice is an important market, not only in Europe, but also in our overseas markets. Just like in the consumer market, the experience, quality and taste are important criteria in the Foodservice, but, in this case, versatility, recognisability and year-round availability are also essential," concludes Claas.
