Unitec and TR Turoni create UT instruments

UT instruments, a partnership between UNITEC, specialised in processing machinery sector, and TR Turoni, specialising in scientific tools for agriculture, was established in 2015 and will become fully operative in 2016. The objective is to develop portable, smart, quick and safe devices to measure ripening stage, flesh firmness, sugar level, size, flesh temperature and colour.

The owner of TR Turoni Enrico Turoni said that, "in addition to being portable, these devices use the Bluetooth technology to reduce the error margins we usually have when transcribing data by hand and/or when they are transferred to other devices."

UT Instruments solutions work with Turoni hardware and Unitec software.
