Washington Association offers Spanish language training workshops
The Washington State Tree Fruit Association is
hosting a series of educational training workshops
in collaboration with its industry partners, the
Washington State Department of Agriculture
(WSDA), Washington State Department of Labor &
Industries (L & I), Washington State University
Extension and sponsors.
The sessions are intended for Spanish speakers, but if English registrants reach 50 percent, classes will be added in that language.
The sessions are scheduled as follows:
February 16 – Hands-On Respirator Fit Test Train the Trainer – Yakima Convention Center, Yakima, WA – WSDA/L & I/G.S. Long.
February 26 – WPS Train the Trainer, Washington Apple Commission, Wenatchee, WA – WSDA/L & I – SOLD OUT.
March 01 – WPS Hands-On Training for Pesticide Handlers – Washington Apple Commission, Wenatchee, WA – WSDA/L & I.
March 11 – Spray Application Equipment Best Management Practices – WSU Extension, Wenatchee, WA – WSDA/WSU Ext.
March 22 – Recall Ready – Holiday Inn Downtown, Yakima, WA – United Fresh.
March 23 – Recall Ready – Confluence Technology Center, Wenatchee, WA – United Fresh.
