New Scanias for Visbeen Transport
Last Friday, January 29th, Visbeen Transport
expanded its fleet with five brand new Scanias.
These new trucks are the first of a bigger fleet
expansion taking place in 2016. These Scania’s are
equipped with a six cylinder 450 hp (331 kw) motor.
Because sustainability and efficiency are high priorities for Visbeen, the company has high hopes for the fuel consumption of these Euro 6 engines, which meet the highest emission standards. In addition, the trucks are equipped with all safety features possible, such as ‘lane departure warning’ and ‘advanced emergency braking’.
The Scania’s were designed with their drivers in mind. They are equipped with the so-called ‘driver package’, meant to offer drivers ultimate comfort. For example the trucks’ features include double glazing, a full-colour instrument panel and ventilated seats.
After the drivers have taken their new trucks in use this week, they will be ready to hit the European roads. During the first quarter of 2016 other new trucks of different brands will be delivered, further expanding the diverse fleet of Visbeen Transport.
