Lady Alice® apples available now

Lady Alice® apples are grown in the fertile volcanic soils of Eastern Washington state. “We have seen production of this relatively new cultivar increasing steadily in recent years,” says Aaron DeHerrera with Rainier Fruit Company.

The perfectly balanced apple
The Lady Alice® apple has a dense and crisp texture and at the same time is sweet and very evenly balanced. It can be eaten as a fresh snack, but is also excellent for cooking and baking. Shipping starts in January and usually continues through the middle of May. Lady Alice® is currently being shipped domestically, and internationally.

New pouch bag packaging
“Demand for this new apple variety is excellent and retail sales continue to outpace available volume each season,” shared DeHerrera. New for the consumer this season is a 2 lb. and 3 lb. premium pouch bag. In addition, Lady Alice® is available in a standard Euro carton. Retail point-of-sale displays are available, along with other retail support.
