On Thursday 28 January, QC One launched their
subscription free pricing model. The new model is
an attractive solution for small and medium sized
businesses wanting to improve efficiency and
professionalize reporting. With pay-as-you-go,
a quality control report can be published for
just €1.99.
Thijs van Alebeek of QC One explains; “We noticed that many smaller businesses showed interest for our platform but were held back due to the initial investment and fixed annual fee. Further we concluded that their business requirements did not include integration with an ERP system or would just use the platform at peak seasonal moments during the year. In order for these businesses to benefit from QC One, we offer Pay-as-you-go. For a one-time startup fee of €999 that covers the implementation and training, users can publish reports for just €1.99 per report, without an annual subscription.''
Pay-as-you-go vs. Enterprise
The new pricing model comes as an addition to their Enterprise subscriptions and encompasses all online functionalities. Those include inspecting produce on product parameters, automated sharing of reports, Analytics for comparing suppliers, farmers and seasons. This compared to their Enterprise subscriptions, which are on basis of fixed annual fees and allow users to publish unlimited numbers of reports. Additionally, Enterprise offers a wirelessly enabled photo camera and an API to connect with ERP systems.
Pricing
The pricing options for the new Pay-As-You-Go solution are: a one-time startup fee of €999 (excluding an iPad) or with the option of an iPad Air 2 WiFi for €1,499. Once QC One is configured to your personal preference, reports can be published for just €1.99 per report. All above
mentioned fees exclude taxes.
