February 4, Fruit Logistica

Seminar Metropolitan Farming - the sky is the limit!

By 2050 the world's population will have grown to 9 billion people, 80 per cent living in towns and cities. How can these people be fed? "Smart" solutions are needed which are both environmentally friendly and conserve natural resources. They will combine smart technology with vertical farming and contribute to new food supply systems. What chances exist already for the fresh produce industry?

On February 4, during the Fruit Logista, Future lab (hall 21) is the place to be. From 14.00 hrs. to 14:30 hrs. Rob Baan (Koppert Cress) and Meiny Prins (Priva) will share their knowledge on 'Metropolitan Farming - the sky is the limit'.

Participation on this seminar is for free. Places are limited so it's best to arrive early.

More information on this seminar can be found on the Fruit Logistica website
