"Chinese "Bringer of Divine Wealth" pear popular in Vietnam"

A fruit named "Doll Pear" from China has recently become a top sales item in Vietnam in the weeks before the Chinese New Year. Due to its shape which resembles "Fu", a charachter in Vietnamese mythology, local merchants started to call the pear a "Bringer of Divine Wealth", which has certainly come true for the business people trading the fruit.

Each pear is about 10 centimetres long and weighs 200 grams. The number of imports in Vietnam increased this year. The pears are currently sold at 50,000 to 80,000 Vietnam dollar, equivalent to 2 Euro.
