Australia: Lemon prices fall as Queensland production ramps up
Lemons are another product with very high prices, last week saw a box fetch as much as $90-100. "Prices are slightly down this week as the volume has picked up out of Queensland now and the market has dropped to $60-70," according to Ben O'Brien from Alfred E Chave. "It was due to lack of volume and lemons are also very high in demand due to health reasons and restaurants are using them more and more."
