Cauliflowers: France dominates the trade followed by Italy
French cauliflowers dominated the trade ahead of Italian cauliflowers. In the meantime Spanish cauliflowers were available in Frankfurt, Cologne and Hamburg in manageable quantities. The availability increased, compared to the previous week, and was sufficient to meet the demand. It depended on the market how the prices developed.

In Hamburg the prices for French cauliflowers had to be lowered, because the increased supply from Spain and Italy was creating real competition. In Berlin the prices of the French batches increased while the prices of Italian cauliflowers went down due to the increased supply.

Due to the weak demand in Frankfurt it wasn’t possible to calculate the total costs to the customers, because they refused the batches. In Munich the prices of the packages of 8 French cauliflowers increased due to the increased sales possibilities. In Cologne the prices remained on the same level because the demand remained stable.
