Amcor to host exclusive conference programme at Fruit Logistica

Amcor, a leading supplier of flexible packaging solutions for fresh produce, has released details of an exclusive conference programme to be
held on 4 February alongside the Fruit Logistica
exhibition in Berlin. As well as an overview of the
latest technical innovations that improve quality,
freshness and print, the complimentary event will include predictions for the packaging of the future
from Barry Pamplin of The Pack Hub.

“Six packaging trends for 2016” will provide valuable independent insight into key developments set to shape the global packaging sector this year. Visitors can then learn about the latest developments in tailored permeability films in “Fresh produce quality: all wrapped up,” presented by Amcor’s James Beresford-Wylie and Russell Granville. Dean Stanford, Printing Development Manager, will then reveal revolutionary new printing technologies in “Bring your packaging to life.”

Each set of presentations will be held twice in hall 2.2, room ULM at Fruit Logistica. The morning session runs from 10am-12pm; the afternoon from 2pm-4pm. Attendance is free of charge. Delegates will be offered a light buffet lunch before or after the session they attend, during which they will be able to network with the speakers as well as Amcor’s food scientists and print specialists. Amcor will also provide delegates with a complimentary copy of its latest white paper, “Fresh produce quality, all wrapped up: the latest packaging innovations to maintain quality from farm to fork,” at the end of each session.

Fruit Logistica visitors unable to attend either of the conferences can discuss their specific needs and future development opportunities with Amcor’s team on stand A01 in hall 21 at any time during the exhibition.

Visit Amcor at hall 21, stand A01, Fruit Logistica, Berlin, Germany, 3-5 February 2016.
