Luc van Buynder new sales engineer

Urschel presents improved cutting machine at Fruit Logistica

Urschel is proud of the introduction of the SPRINT 2 Dicer, the improved cutting machine based on the models G-A and GK-A. The SPRINT 2 needs less maintenance, can process bigger and harder products, is more hygienic and has a higher capacity. The SPRINT 2 really cuts anything. The cross cutting role of the DiversaCut Sprint with set precision knives - instead of rotating knives - produces perfectly cut blocks, strips, slices and a crinkle cut. Suitable for soft fruits and vegetables and now also for tougher root vegetables.

The cutting part of the machine is separate from the driving part. This makes the SPRINT 2 more hygienic, easier to keep clean and easier to maintain (lubrication) than the G-A and GK-A. The lubrication points are on the outside of the machine. The SPRINT 2 has a lower input and higher output height. The low input height is safeguarded and stops employees from getting a hand easily caught in the paddle wheel. The high output ensure an ergonomic work environment and excellently slots into the height of eurobins. The SPRINT 2 with belt output is 1 to 1 replaceable with the G-A and GK-A.
