Enza Seeds buys R&D AG broccoli breeding programme

Enza Seeds has bought the broccoli variety package and breeding programme of the American R&D AG. The international vegetable breeding company has 23 crops, including Brassica, in its portfolio. "Breeding is the heart of our business. The combination of creativity, expertise and years of experience in breeding programmes is our power," says Jaap Mazereeuw, Managing Director of Enza Seeds. "Over 30% of our turnover is invested in innovation. This broccoli programme is a good addition to our breeding activities."
