Between January and November 2015

Peru: Fresh mango exports increased by 30%

The Association of Exporters (ADEX) reported through its PERU EXPORTS Newsletter that Peruvian mango exports between January and November 2015 amounted to 158.6 million dollars, i.e. 30% more than the mango shipments during the same period in 2014.

According to the ADEX Data Trade Business Intelligence System, Peru shipped its mango to 28 destinations. The main destinations were the Netherlands and the United States, followed by the UK, France, Spain, Canada, Germany, and Chile, among others.

It's worth noting that the three largest producers of mango in Peru are Piura (which has crops in areas such as Malingas, Hualtaco, Yuscay, Pedregal, Valle Los Incas, La Pola, Sullana, La Noria, Yapatera, Batanes, among other locations), Lambayeque, and Ancash.
