Greenco joins DOOR Cooperation

Tomato grower Greenco is joining DOOR. This makes Greenco'
s Tommies the sixth brand in the brand strategy of DOOR after Prominent, Purple Pride, Green Diamonds, SweetPoint and PapriCo. Greenco is taking this step to be able to further extend the brand strategy of Tommies.

Why DOOR?
Greenco is joining DOOR because DOOR's strategy supports Greenco's brand strategy. "Members of Greenco can keep their brand identity under the flag of DOOR and further extend it. DOOR also offers a platform to share experiences and knowledge between various brands. This increases the clout of the Greenco brands. This also contributes to the further structuring of the Dutch horticulture," explain the organisations.

The Greenery
This step will have no consequences for Greenco's current customer relationships. The product availability for The Greenery's customers is safeguarded. The relationship with The Greenery remains unchanged and is important in meeting customer wishes. "We are looking at how we can strengthen the relationships together here and make it future proof," according to the Greenco speaker Auke Smit.

DOOR and Greenco are happy with the collaboration. It wholly fits into the new thinking that there should be more collaboration in the Dutch greenhouse production. This is a step towards strengthening the Dutch clout in the sector. "We will achieve more with collaboration than with separation," according to Jan Opschoor, director of DOOR.
