From South Tirol to Puglia for a good cause. After the first cooperation in 2014 the Cooperation of fruit farmers in South Tirol (VOG) will support the Non-Profit-Organization Teriamik in Bari with its apples again this year. The NPO Teriamik has been supporting projects in Africa and Albania for years.
On 13 December several hundred Christmas packages - consisting of six Marlene® apple varieties and a Kanzi® apple - sold at the Christmas Bazaar of the parish of San Giuseppe Moscati the village Triggiano (in Bari). The sales is organized by Teriamik in cooperation with other aid organizations.
The profit goes to support the Teriamik projects in the villages Koumì in Burkina Faso and Mamurras in Albania. This includes the important project DARi.Vi (Dall'Acqua Rinasce la Vita, that translates as: “Out of the water new life is born”).
