Czech Republic : Apple, plum, grape imports increased in September

In September 2015, 2,132 tons of bananas from France and 2,073.7 tons of bananas from Ecuador were imported into the Czech market.

Apple imports increased by 41% compared to last September, reaching 7,049.8 tons. Poland and Italy are the biggest exporters with 21% of exports. 3,080.5 tons of plums were imported from Macedonia, representing a 36% increase.

Grape exports also increased, by 24.5% reaching 6,968.3 tons, of which 80.30% came from Italy. However, nectarine imports decreased by 38.2% reaching 3,296.2 tons, of which 2,617.5 tons came from Italy.
