WilkoFruit warns of Guneyhan Marketing (Mete Guneyhan)
After Jager Holland and Impalafruit, Wilko Fruit from Breda has now also warned against doing business with Guneyhan Marketing (contact Mete Guneyhan). On July 24 2013 an agreement between Wilko Fruit and Guneyhan Marketing was made to load one truck of cherries as quickly as possible. After receiving the documents (CMR, EUR 1, Phyto, invoice) Wilko Fruit paid 30% of the agreed amount.
"On July 31 2013 we received a call from Guneyhan Marketing with the message that the cherries wouldn't be coming. There had been an accident and more information was to follow. After a lot of phone calls, however, he wasn't prepared to send the police report, photos or the insurance report. A lot of conversations followed, but no money or produce has been received. The answer is always: next week," says Jan Willem Arts of Wilko Fruit.
He warns colleagues in the branch: "Guneyhan Marketing is still offering product in and outside the Netherlands. Be careful!"
