Opticool looks forward to a great season

First shipment of Canary Island tomatoes arrives in the Netherlands

Its early November and that means it is time for Canary Island tomatoes to start regularly arriving. Yesterday, the arrival of the first full shipment of Canary Island tomatoes and cucumbers was celebrated by Opticool in Rotterdam. In addition to logistics, Opticool also takes care of all the packaging and re-packaging operations.

The new ship 'Cape Town Star' had the honor of transporting the goods. This year three new ships will be put into operation.

Expectations
The first Canary Island tomatoes of the season arrived in the Netherlands on October 13th. Now entire ships can be filled with the Canary Island product. For the first few weeks one ship per week will arrive. Half way through the month that will become two ships per week. They expect the same numbers as last year, which means Opticool can look forward to a great season.
