New growing system for strawberries
Metazet FormFlex has developed a new growing system for strawberries. It is based on a holding system, with which the strawberries are put on earth dams covered with foil. Special stalks are installed at the start and end of each patch, so that the channel system is fixed with wires. Advantages are that the head radiation from the ground causes an early arrival, that the system can be operated as an open irrigation system, it can be covered easily, and it is easy to install for asparagus companies thanks to the present dam technology. Furthermore, Metazet lists that a building permit is generally not needed.
