”Innovative holding clamps” ensures dry and clean covers

The company Heinze Design will present a clamp system for high tunnels and greenhouses to the European public at the leading trade fair for asparagus and berry production. It will be presented at the fair in Karlsruhe on 18 and 19 November 2015.

The company Heinze Design in Offenburg is a new exhibitor at expoSE. They will present an interesting holding clamp that can be attached directly to the construction of high tunnels and greenhouses. The clamp, made out of spring steel wire, is fast and easy to assemble and can be adjusted depending on the purpose.

The clamps allow farmers to keep their equipment dry and clean in the greenhouses, for example it can be used to hold the folded covers or to store irrigation hoses above the plants. Another variant can prevent the plastic from slipping during ventilation.

Another innovation presented for greenhouse cultivation is the "tomato string hook". The robust plastic hook can be used to form a string trellis for tomatoes without the need for a knot. The main advantage is that less force is needed to lower the plants. This is due to the special wedge-shaped slots and holes in the hook through which the string goes.
