Kiremko and Packo introduce new product pump

Kiremko and Packo jointly introduce a new product pump to the market, the VPCK. This evolution of the existing VDKK, was designed for the vegetable and potato processing industry. With its larger pump housing and custom stainless steel impeller, the VPCK reduces product damage and improves productivity of the process line.

Based on experiences with the current VDKK product pump, the complete geometry of both impeller and pump housing were studied through CFD and re-designed with as much free passage as possible, and a work zone that's as wide as possible.

Packo and Kiremko developed a testing method with which they could compare the number and extent of product damages in an objective way. The new VPCK product pump gives the best results compared to other reputable pumps. The results of months of CFD study and field tests are a range of four new pump types in several sizes.

The pump is designed in stainless steel, making it hygienic and durable. Applications for the VPCK product pump are, among others, process lines in fries, refrigerated potatoes and potato flakes. The VPCK installation dimensions are identical to that of the VDKK, which makes the pumps easily interchangeable.

The VPCK will be officially introduced in October 2015, and will be available for the potato processing industry exclusively through Kiremko.
