Marseille shipping company, CMA CGM, are deploying 5 new services from Morocco to the Middle East, Africa, Russia and North America. These services are used over the citrus export season (oranges, clementines…) and for vegetables (tomatoes, courgettes, peppers…) from Morocco.
These 5 shipping routes have 14 weekly departures from Morocco:
The Dunkrus service (Agadir, Dunkirk, Rotterdam, Anvers, Flessingue, le Havre, Rouen, Vigo, Tanger, Casablanca, Agadir) will start on the 24th October. Agapov (Agadir, Port Vendres, Barcelona, Valencia, Casablanca, Agadir, Port Vendres, Algesiras, Tanger, Ghazaouet, Casablanca and Agadir) will begin on the 29th October with two stopovers a week in Port Vendres for the South of France. The weekly Morocco Shittle (Casablanca, Agadir, Tanger, Algesiras, Casablanca) will operate throughout the year and will serve the USA and Canada thanks to a connection with the group’s other services in Algesiras.
ODPR, a subsidiary of CMA CGM since the 1st of July this year, will offer the Ciss service (Agadir, Huelva, Setubal, Tilbury, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Tilbury, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Agadir) from the 7th November. They will also offer the Agax service (Agadir, Casablanca, Portsmouth, Rotterdam, Anvers, Casablanca, Gibraltar, Seville, Las Palmas, Agadir) from the 15th October.
Established in Morocco since 2002, CMA CGM has 1,200 employees and 17 shipping routes stopover in the country.
