Ningbo port opens fast 'Green Channel' clearance for Korean fruit

At the port of Ningbo, a 'Green Channel' system has been implemented to speed up custom clearance procedures of import fruit from South Korea.

The “Green Channel” has opened as a result of a Chinese-Korean agreement on the quarantine standards for fresh products. Both countries try to fasten import procedures to tap into the growing demand for fresh products on the Chinese market.

A first shipment of 4.5 tons of “Geobaong” grapes, with an estimated marked value of 88,000 Yuan, has just successfully passed through the Green Channel.
