"Gerry Li, Rida Trade: "Ginger prise falls, new season imminent"

First Chinese chestnuts within two weeks

In general the ginger price will fall in the next few months as the new ginger crop comes online. "We are trying to clear up our stock now that they are back at a normal level," explained sales manager Gerry Li.

"Even the better quality and increased supply and the large demand before Chinese New Year and Christmas will not change the price trends," he explained. "But we really hope that the lower price of ginger will increase demand in the European market."

Rida Trade packs the ginger in 1, 2 and 5kg and also in 12kg and in an open top box for the retailers.

In addition to ginger, Rida Trade will also have Chinese chestnuts in the next two weeks. "It is a delicious product from the north of the country. Just as with ginger we do our best to have the best quality at the best price."
