Felix instruments to host master class at mango event
According to the Australian Mango Industry Association (AMIA), "consumer research has repeatedly shown that quality is one of the key drivers of mango sales"—the most important indicators of quality being TSS (Brix) and Dry Matter. The F-750 Produce Quality Meter from Felix Instruments—Applied Food Science offers a faster, non-destructive method for estimating dry matter and total soluble solids (TSS, also known as brix), as well as assessing fruit maturity and flesh color.
From September 28-October 2, Felix Instruments will present the F-750, along with the F-900 Portable Ethylene Analyzer and the F-950 Three Gas Analyzer, at the XI International Mango Symposium in Darwin, Australia. Chemometrics expert and PhD candidate, Ryan Lerud, will be available to discuss all three instruments and will be a primary speaker at the Tools for Precision Mango-Culture Master Class, hosted by Felix Instruments.
