Embalajes Agricolas Sambramex adds clamshells to product line

Embalajes Agricolas Sambramex has been selected as the in-country distributor in Mexico for products from Highland Packaging Solutions. Clamshells manufactured by Highland, based in Plant City, Florida, are now available in Mexico through Embalajes Agricolas Sambramex. These clamshells for berries and tomatoes will be distributed from Sambramex’s main warehouse facilities in Zamora, Michoacán, and Vicente Guerrero, B.C., Mexico.

The Highland products offered through Sambramex will include 1 lb. strawberry clamshells for a 6-down tray configuration and 2 lb. strawberry clamshells for both 6-down and 8-down configurations. Additional product lines will include 4.4 oz., 6 oz., pint, 11 oz. (low profile pint), 1 lb., 18 oz., 24 oz., and 2 lb. clamshells for blueberries; ½ pint, 12 oz., and 18 oz. clamshells for blackberries; ½ pint and 12 oz. clamshells for raspberries; and ½ pint, one pint, 1 lb., 24 oz., and 2 lb. clamshells for cherry, grape, and heirloom tomatoes. “We are excited to welcome Highland to our product family,” stated Juana Ramirez, Sales Manager for Sambramex. “With the addition of the Highland clamshells to our existing Mixim® and RunRite® product lines, we are now able to offer berry and tomato growers in Mexico complete families of high-quality products. Our packaging will accommodate 5-down, 6-down, 8-down, 9-down, and 12-down tray configurations.”
