"Associations present new "German transport/ storage conditions"

The Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie (BDI), the Bundesverband Großhandel, Außenhandel, Dienstleistungen (BGA), the Handelsverband Deutschland (HDE) and the Bundesverband Wirtschaft, Verkehr und Logistik (BWVL) present the „Deutschen Transport- und Lagerbedingungen“ (DTLB), which replace the Allgemeinen Deutschen Spediterubedingungen (ADSp). Previously, the negotiations for the revised version of the ADSp had been fruitless.

From the transport industry's point of view, the new DTLB correspond to the current, industry-wide realities in corporate logistics. Continued and structural changes in the transport- and logistic chain, caused by international and increasingly digitalized supply-chains have made a revision of a modern policy necessary across the industry. Moreover, the DTLB ensure a close cooperation and a balanced relationship between clients and the transport- and logistic service providers.
