China: Wuzhou city signs vegetable trading deal with Hong Kong

Wuzhou Natural Agriculture from the city of Wuzhou has signed a contract with the city of Hong Kong to provide 700 boxes of fresh vegetables on daily basis starting from November, according to the CEO of Wuzhou Dr. Yu. 800 hectares are planned to use for the production of cabbage and other winter vegetables for Hong Kong. The city of Wuzhou is also investing in 60.000 hectare additional farm land for vegetables and will start to produce 22 biologically farmed vegetable varieties.
