Shandong garlic price +10%

Vegetable prices in Shandong, one of the biggest vegetable producing provinces in China, have increased with 1.2% over the last week. Garlic prices are growing the fastest of all vegetables, with 10% over the same period. Price increases are caused by an increase in demand that is not met by production. Sales of garlic in Shandong are estimated to have reached 300,000.
