Recently, the Consul General of Thailand visited China to inspect the new storage and distribution centre of Hunan Fruit Agricultural Science & Technology Co., LTD. in Kunming. The centre is currently under construction and is expected to be finished by the end of the year. It will be the biggest fruit distribution centre in Kunming province. Yearly sales are estimated to reach 280,000,000 to 300,000,000 yuan.
The center occupies 25,000 square meters and was funded with an investment of 150,000,000 yuan. It will have a storage capacity of 30,000 tons and a daily distribution capacity of 1,500 tons. From January to July 2015, the export and import revenue between Changsha and Thailand reached 5,630,000 USD and 12,620,000 USD respectively.
