There are alien tomatoes growing in Wageningen

Growing tomatoes on Mars. It has to be possible. At least, if you look at the conditions in which Wageningen scientists have grown tomatoes. The tomatoes grow in soil that is equal to that on Mars. There are heavy metals in this soil.

Earlier tests with radish and peas were also successful. Leak, chive and spinach bore less fruitful results. The scientists also hope to soon harvest tomatoes from moon soil.
