Fruit Rangers campaign now available in Germany
The "FruitRangers" campaign, started by the Dutch company FruitFactor, is now available in Germany. On July 30th 2015 the German website (also with an English option) www.fruitrangers.de went online.
The campaign targets children between the ages of three and nine years old and tells the story of the fruit rangers Lizzy and Jack. The two fruit rangers go on adventures with their fruit-car. Their expeditions lead them to exotic places where they search for the tastiest and healthiest fruit in the world.
The fruit rangers Lizzy and Jack meet several challenges on their travels and they learn everything they need to know about fruit. Where the fruit grows, which vitamins they contain, how they are produced and the rangers learn why vitamins, fibres and minerals are important for their health.
The ready-to-eat fruit is offered throughout year. Only the tastiest varieties are marketed under the label FruitRangers. Kiwis, seedless and easy to peel tangerines and kids bananas will be part of the range. And the bananas will be Fair Trade.
Packaging
The ready-to-eat Kiwis are available in 500-gram trays in 40x60cm boxes that contain 16 units. It is possible to get a delivery of 8x500-gram trays. The tangerines are packaged on 750-gram trays also in a 40x60cm box. The banana packaging is still only at a concept stage. All the packaging is recyclable.
