German company to strengthen year round sales

Kedem Group, an Israeli company, has a marketing company in Germany which acts as a marketing arm. “We are a strong player in the organic market”, explains Tal Kedem from Kedem Hadarim. “Most of our activity is with Israeli products in the European winter.” As a result there is a lack of summer activity to complete the year. “The best way to resolve this is to engage through a partnership /joint venture with a supplier or big growers from around the world.”

The company receives a lot of products straight from the growers, who are dealing with avocado, citrus, dates, fresh herbs, carrots and potatoes, sweet potatoes and other produce.

The client selection is from major supermarkets to wholesale markets and shops. “Kedem is growing every year and the new purchase is a large packing station for fresh Carrots.” This packing station is packing 15,000 tons of carrots ready to export.
