Apples for the near and far East

Large potential for Lake Constance

Already for the third time in a row, the fruit wholesale market SalemFrucht and the distribution company SeeFrucht will present themselves on the international trade fair ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA in Hong Kong. From September 2 to 4, the apple species Red Delicious and Gala, as well as the premium apple type KIKU will stand in the foreground of the Salemer trade fair exhibit. The company thus consistently continues its marketing of Lake Constance apples in the Arabic and Asian areas.

Over 50,000 tonnes of apples from the area of Lake Constance are delivered to SalemFrucht on a yearly basis and marketed from there. To this day, the majority of apples are traded through retail in Germany. Besides there, Lake Constance apples are wanted throughout Europe: now, apples from Salem are marketed in ten European countries.

SalemFrucht’s experts know the needs of the national and international market regarding size and taste of the apples from countless international specialized meetings and trade meetings. “For example, apples of above average size and sweetness are wanted in the Mediterranean hemisphere”, Rainer Wielatt knows. These preferences are fulfilled with premium brand KIKU® and the species Red Delicious and Gala. And exactly these species are presented at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTIC in Hong Kong by the Salem top.

Rainer Wielatt apples SalemFrucht’s highest quality standards to the development of the new market , because he knows: “Whether in Baden-Wurttemberg, Hamburg or Hong Kong, the consumer always wants to bite into a fresh, crispy and tasty apple from Lake Constance.” The feedback at the trade-fair appearances at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA so far encourage the Salem company to continue on the road they have taken: after beginning business activities on the new market, customers from Quatar, Dubai, Syria and India have come along, because they are now convinced of the high quality of the Lake Constance apples from Salem.
