Organisation anticipates on call in 2014

Early bird registration 2nd EU FRESH INFO Forum & Round Table

During the first week of December the global fresh produce industry and their information management & ICT partners, will meet again in Rotterdam for the second edition of the EU FRESH INFO Forum & Round Table.

During the launch of this event in 2014, there was a call for action towards the fresh produce industry and their partners to prepare new solutions for the industry to get them ready for an information driven Horticulture 4.0.

Industry tour
Before the start of the conference a pre programme meeting is scheduled at 30 November, with an industry tour to the most sophisticated Dutch industry companies. A visit to the new APM2 Terminal at the Maasvlakte2 at the Port of Rotterdam, importer Nature’s Pride, greenhouse technology company Priva and seed-company Rijk Zwaan are scheduled.

Programme
The first set up of the programme has been launched. It’s a mixture of all aspects regarding technology, ICT and Fresh Produce. The Forum on the 1st of December is a must for entrepreneurs (trade & growers) & strategic management of trade & growers. At the second day of the conference you can participate in several round table sessions. These vary from in-dept sessions, educational and innovation sessions. These are particularly interesting for cultivation, food safety, operations, logistics, marketing & finance-management of trade & cultivation. Especially IT managers in Fresh Produce industry should attend the 2nd of December.

The conference starts with the Industry Forum on the 1st of December. A first glance of the keynotes at the forum*:

The 2nd of December starts with a plenary keynote of K. Poppe, Agronomist, Wageningen University - LEI “Is there a business(case) in fresh without ICT?”.

After that there is a parallel-program with Roundtables, Presentations, Workshops, Education Sessions and Solution Pitches.

Now registration is open for delegates. Register before 15th of September 2015 and get an Early Bird Fee of € 250,- for a two-day full access pass for 1 & 2 December.
