VLM connects Hamburg with port cities Antwerp, Rotterdam and Southampton

Since the end of April 2015, VLM, the Belgian regional airline, flies directly from Hamburg to the important port cities of Antwerp, Rotterdam and Southampton. Southampton is serviced with a brief transit stop over in Antwerp. They fly on workdays from Monday until Friday, by so-called “double day-edge, there in the morning, back in the evening”. They are the fastest connections to Germany, without detours to Brussels, Amsterdam or London. Especially port industries, such as shipping companies and cruise lines, benefit from these fast and uncomplicated flight connections, without time-consuming flight changes.

VLM is one of the few airlines who still offer a completely free border service, as well as free check-in luggage up to 23 kg and 10 kg of hand baggage in all booking classes. With three booking classes, VLM has the right offer for every traveller: for the business traveller who values flexibility in the short term, the “ Essential- or Executive Class” (up to 2x 23 Kg free luggage) is the right choice. With the “ Promo-tariff”, the budget-conscious traveller can already fly One-Way starting at 49.00 Euro, including all taxes and fees. Starting in the fall, the comfortable Online-Check will be possible. Special rates for seamen (transport of ship’s crews) the so-called “ Seaman Fares”, can be requested at the Airline. Flights can simply be booked directly online or through any (IATA) travelling agency.
