Ethylene application system for fruit ripening now available in Australia & New Zealand

A safer, easier and efficient way to apply ethylene in ripening rooms has arrived in Australia. Long the standard for ripening in North America, United Kingdom, the Middle East and other countries, Catalytic Generators’ Ethy-Gen® II Ripening Concentrate and line of ethylene generators is now available through I do Group, located near Melbourne.

“We are excited to partner with Leigh and Phil Cummin of Catalytic Generators Australia,” says Greg Akins, Catalytic Generators’ President & CEO. “Given their years of experience with ripening room design and use in Australia, they are the perfect fit for us. We have made it our business to provide trustworthy service to fresh produce companies with our products, and Catalytic Generators Australia has the fruit ripening knowledge to continue that tradition in Australia & New Zealand.”

With an extensive inventory of Ethy-Gen® II and generators, Catalytic Generators Australia has the ability to supply any region in Australia within a few days with product. New Zealand customers can have product within a week or two.

“From fast supply of Ethy-Gen® II to qualified service on generators, it is our aim to provide clients with ethylene application products that are safe and easy to use,” explains Leigh Cummin, Owner of Catalytic Generators Australia. “For years, Australian ripeners have had one or two alternatives: pure ethylene cylinders or “RipeGas.” Neither have the safety or efficiency inherent in Catalytic Generators’ products.”

Whether a “piped-in” Centralized Ripening System or portable “Easy-Ripe” Generator, Catalytic Generators offers several solutions for small to large ripening centers that enable the production of ethylene, on site and in small quantities.
