Prices for raw materials for plastics has stabilized

The prices for raw materials for plastics has stabilized, some commodity prices seem to even be falling. Supply and demand appear to be better in balance, thus the expected turnaround came in pricing.

A major reason for this price increase was the fact that different production sites in Europe were stopped due to 'force majeure'. Marcus Gillioen from Flex Film said that being confronted with higher purchasing prices would eventually push up the price of plastic.
