Kühne+Nagel improves net profit despite strong Swiss Franc

The logistic company Kühne+Nagel has, despite the strong Swiss Franc, improved its net profit in the first halve of 2015. However sales were slightly down.

According to the company a net sales of 8.225 billion Francs was reached in the first six months of 2015, while it was 8.5 billion Francs in the previous year. The net profit improved with 4.2 percent to 326 million Francs, this despite the negative impact that the exchange rate (7.3 percent) had. The operating profit (EBIT) of 410 million Swiss Francs was higher than last year’s too (CHF 396 million).
