Company celebrates 25 years of fundraising

Since 1990, Tom Lange Charitable Foundation has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars, to provide access to health care, grant wishes, ensure hot meals and facilitate education for children in need.

“We operate in many cities and in many different countries around the world”, said Greg Reinauer, President of Tom Lange Co. “It is our responsibility and privilege to give back to these communities and to the organizations whose goal is to have a positive impact on the lives of children.”

The single largest fundraising effort is through an annual charity golf tournament with proceeds from the event benefiting children’s charities in that city in which it is held. The 2015 event was held in St. Louis on June 27, and resulted in over $65,000 being donated to Friends of Kids with Cancer and St. Vincent Home for
Children. Friends of Kids with Cancer is devoted to enriching the daily lives of children undergoing treatment for cancer and blood-related diseases. St. Vincent Home for Children provides treatment programs for at-risk youth within the St. Louis County.

To further the goal of giving back, Tom Lange Co. will be supporting the Tour de Fresh campaign this October.

Tour de Fresh is a four-day cycling event that raises funds to benefit the Let's Move Salad Bars to Schools campaign. The goal of the 2015 Tour de Fresh and its participants is to privately finance 100+ new salad bars in school districts across the country. “It is an honor to support an event that focuses on the nutritional needs of school children by raising funds for salad bars in schools. We are all excited that Mark Lacey and Bill Weyland, of our New Jersey office, will be riding for the Tom Lange team and look forward to supporting them” said Becky Wilson, Tom Lange VP of Operations.
