On July 1st 2015, 47-year-old Gianmarco Guernelli became the new fresh produce purchasing manager for Conad (Consorzio nazionale dettaglianti).
Guernelli has been working for Conad since 1989, when he started as a junior buyer. Between 1992 and 2000, he was in vegetable quality control and, from 2000 onwards, he was in charge with fresh produce purchases first as category manager and then as buyer.
