HCCR gets Top Performer Award

The Hamburger Container- und Chassis-Reparatur-Gesellschaft (HCCR) got the “Top Performer Award” from Carrier. Carrier is one of the leading manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigerator units in the world. By winning the award HCCR has beaten more than 100 other service centres in Europe alone.

Dr. Georg Böttner, Managing Director of HCCR: “We are very proud to receive the award for the best reefer depot of Europe, the Middle East and Asia. We consider it a confirmation of our work as well as an incentive to keep on raising our standards. And I am pleased that the award recognises the contribution of all the HCCR employees.”

The quality, health and safety standards, and environmental standards are some of the criteria for the Carrier Top Performer Award. Staff training sessions, cooperation with manufacturers and the availability of spare parts are also evaluated. The prize was recently awarded to HCCR at an industry event. This in addition to the Care Max certificate awarded by Carrier back in February.

HCCR operates 24-7 at all three Hamburger container terminals in the Port of Hamburg. And with the use of emergency vehicles HCCR can cover a larger region. The company employs 48 co-workers and 11 trainees. All four important manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigerator units recognize HCCR. This means that HCCR can administer warranty work for these manufacturers and sell spare parts. HCCR services and repairs air conditioning units on all possible locations, on machinery like cranes as well as in office buildings.
