Gautier Italia's Apeticio F1 and Bellacio F1 miniplum tomatoes campaign has finally started.
The project involved leading companies in the production and distribution industry.
Today, we want to talk about LA ZAGARA, located in Catania. "The company has always been looking for products that make a difference, i.e. that have an excellent flavour. Nowadays, tomatoes are produced all over the world so, if we want to promote our territory, we must do so through our products. Of course we can count on our light conditions, soil and experience."
This is the philosophy of owner Giovanni Grasso, which led to the cooperation with Gautier Italia, always committed to developing seeds with excellent organoleptic products.
The produce was already introduced in Northern Europe in the winter, obtaining positive feedback.
Apeticio and Bellacio are two miniplum varieties studied for both bunch and single-fruit harvesting. They have an olive and plum shape, respectively.
Tomatoes weigh between 10 and 12 grams and grow in bunches. Both have the same HR tolerances: ToMV/Fol:0/For/Ff:1-5 - IR :Ma/Mi/Mj/On.
