Italy: Fourth Fragolà season started in Verona

Thanks to the mild weather and good temperatures, it is officially time for the new season of Fragolà!

Ceradini Group strawberries will in fact be available from this week on the best market stands, the only ones that can make the characteristics of this fruit truly stand out.

The greenhouses set up in 2012 in Velo Veronese counted approximately 140,000 plants. Over the years, growing conditions were improved and now there are around 300,000 plants of the Irma and Capri varieties cultivated on 4.5 hectares on 25 km of rows - the biggest crop in Europe!

And one that was not easy to build, as each plant must be perpendicular to the ground and, in order to be constantly exposed to the sun, the inclination must be calculated according to its position. Fragolà's success "is due to the fact that we pay attention to every detail and, together, all these details make a difference," explains agronomist Andrea Bonetti.

To further guarantee the quality of the product, an innovative traceability system was also created that can identify the date and time when the fruit was harvested as well as the operator who did it.

Fragolà: premium quality strawberries!

In addition to a particular and strong flavour, Fragolà has a unique colour and shape. "Such an exceptional fruit must have a special packaging to exalt its characteristics, that is why we chose something simple yet appealing - a woman eating a strawberry," explains Massimo Ceradini, owner of Ceradini Group.

The boxes contain 8 250 gram punnets with the Fragolà brand.

The best clients will receive the Fragolà clock as a gift!

Because to last year's bad weather, volumes were not as expected, "but we managed to meet our quality standards and therefore successful. This year, things are looking much better."

Those who choose Fragolà get a better quality!
