Vietnam exports bananas to Japan

A 40 foot (12 metre) container containing about 22 tons of bananas from the company U&I (Unifarm) was exported to Tokyo on the 13th June. It is the first time that bananas grown by Unifarm in the agricultural area of An Thai in Binh Duong province are exported to Japan.

The An Thai agricultural zone is a a hi-tech area covering over 411 hectares and uses agricultural techniques from many countries including Israel, the Republic of Korea and Japan.
